Link2home is now neighbo.com

Link2home has been relaunched as neighbo.com. The new name for Link2home is not an over used marketing ploy - there is a real difference between the two offerings.

Link2home has worked with property managers for the last 3 years to improve communication agents and owners. Now neighbo.com allows us to offer this excellent service to a much wider community.

neighbo.com is for all neighbours who live in a managed community and beyond.

Feedback across all sites

All neighbo communities should be encouraged to add their feedback and ideas to this blog so that neighbo can improve their service online. To encourage participation in the development of neighbo.com we should add a link to the neighbo blog on every community.

Property Calendar

It would be useful to have a property calendar where events (ie window cleaning, lift maintenance) can be posted in the residents group, AGMs, management meetings etc.  It is useful for residents & owners to know when Committee/Mangement Meetings are taking place so that they can raise issues to be discussed ahead of the meeting.

RSS Feeds for Property Managers

Have you looked at creating RSS feeds for property managers from their dashboards, particulary recent posts and recent comments

Moving issues

I have noticed some posts start off as info for residents and after a few comments can turn into a service charge issue. This means that the thread ccontinues in the Residents group and not in the owners groups, where service charge issues can be discussed.

Is this a problem????

Should we look at stopping a thread and moving it or linking it into another area

Perhaps this relates to a management issue - upgrading to management issue ??

Contractor contribution on posts and issues

If management are discussing issues connected with faults or improvements, works etc often they are discussing contractors with committee members or perhaps even residents.

Would it be useful on certain issues to allow a contractor working on a fault, to report back direct to the committee. This would mean that they could explain how far they had got or why something was perhaps over running. 

This contribution could be limited to specific issues ...

Administration of community membership

Can you provide Committees/Managing Agents with the ability to review existing/transferred from link2home community/group memberships so that:

  1. any members who have moved out/away/sold on can be removed - housekeeping
  2. the 'gaps' can be seen and non-members specifically targetted to join the community.

In the residents and owners section, in addition to all posts, documents, collaborative docs etc – could you have a “Property FAQ” category which would allow us to upload a FAQ rather than hide it in the documents section.

Or be able to pin a post to the top of the all posts section?
